Which funding rules can you help us with?

We work across DfE and ESFA funding streams and devolved authority contracts, including apprenticeships, adult skills, study programmes and employability provision. If you hold a contract we haven't worked with before, we'll say so and agree the approach with you first.

How does a funding rule compliance review work?

We agree the scope with you, review a sample of learner files, evidence and processes against the current rules, then give you a clear written report: what's compliant, what's at risk, and a prioritised action plan. We can then support you to put the fixes in place.

Will this help us avoid clawback?

The aim is to find and fix issues before an auditor does. Reviews concentrate on the evidence that funding depends on, so problems are corrected while there is still time to correct them.

What do we need to prepare?

Very little to start. We'll ask for access to the relevant learner records and your key policies, and for a short conversation with the people who own each process. We work around your team's availability.
